Modern Band

Modern Band is a course for students to explore diverse styles of music.  Students will develop skills on guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums (and vocals, for those interested).  After developing basic skills on these instruments, students will then form "garage bands", smaller groups, and engage in creating and performing music in a project-based, thematic approach.  It is not required to have any musical background to take this course and there are no auditions.  The necessary instruments are provided in the classroom.
